Mobilising Youth in Madrasas to End Violence Against Women and Girls in Bihar

Oxfam India has been supporting Kishanganj-based RAHAT
(Rapid Action for Human Advancement Tradition), a women’s rights
organisation, since 2013 to create awareness and build capacities of
marginalised sections of the society, especially women, to end gender-based
violence. Since 2015, RAHAT started working with adolescents in the Madrasas in the two blocks in the district.
